Following the previous day's mission on Mt. Patriarch, Day 16 will come almost as a bit of light relief - famous last words eh!
The day starts with about 5kms of mostly gravel road out of Blackball, then heads into Blackball Creek on bush track that eventually starts a steady climb that will take us out on to the open tops of the Paparoa Range. After summiting Croesus Knob we'll follow the ridge north, skirt just beneath the taller Mt. Ryall, and then plunge back into the bush for a long descent to the West Coast at Barrytown.
Important Notes
Support runners need to be self-sufficient in regards to transport to the start and back from the finish. While we MAY be able to offer some assistance this CANNOT be guaranteed.
