Okay, I admit it, the main reason for first including this peak was its irresistible name. But then I did some more research and got genuinely excited about both the peak and the trails that lead to and from it. The Lewis Pass area is not one I know well, but one I've always been keen to explore more, so this has really whet my appetite.
From the Lewis Pass Highway the route takes us up the Nina River and Blind Stream to Devilskin Saddle, from where the 500m climb to the day's peak starts. After returning to the saddle we then run south to Doubtful River and follow it back out to the main highway.
Important Notes
Support runners need to be self-sufficient in regards to transport to the start and back from the finish. While we MAY be able to offer some assistance this CANNOT be guaranteed.
