To be honest, I know very little about this little slice of Southland, but it comes highly reccommended and is one of the southernmost sections of the Te Araroa Trail, which we join and leave several times during our epic journey. I can tell you we'll be running north to south though. And if I get a chance to go for a recce I'll add some more detail but if you're curious to know more check out the Te Araroa website
